Parameter Rules

Working under the basis that '1' is considered a normal value:

  • When a rank is marked with a +, it means that just for one moment, it is able to temporarily increase its damage two-fold, overcoming even a higher ranked weapon. Only a few heroes have + stats. Those with ++ are uber. Those with +++ are considered to be in a class of their own.
  • Weapons or stats with an EX rank do not fall under these parameter rules. Things that can no longer be categorized by the numbers of the above scale as they lie beyond them.
  • High thaumaturgy is considered to be at a rank of A. A+ spells are considered to be close to magic.
  • A C rank Noble Phantasm is the equivalent of an A rank or A+ normal attack (STR).
  • Ea's maximum damage is 4000, but with backup items in Gilgamesh's vault, damage can be increased even further.
  • Since even an E rank skill has positive effects, I'd say it's safe to assume that anything with a rank is going to be better than average.
  • A++ and EX level for Noble Phantasms are said to be close to Divine Spirit level attacks.
  • Ranks with "minus" (-) modifiers do exist; Kanshou and Bakuya, Archer's majutsu skill, and Rider's divinity. However, what that translates to in numbers is unknown.
  • Hm, a lot of strange interpretations are going on, but this is the way how I personally see it. For common ability stats, E = expert, D = ace, C = superhuman, B through A = beyond what a human being can accomplish/going to need some god/demonic/dragon/shinpi blood to get these kinds of stats. There are some other theories for this about how back then, in order to even survive people had to be stronger/tougher/faster. Well Bedivere did manage to run way faster than a normal modern human being could so it is possible.
  • Other than with NPs, + modifiers can be found in Berserker's STR, Rin Saber's LCK, Caster's MGI, Assassin's AGI (probably factoring in Tsubame Gaeshi). The only non-NP stat with ++ modifiers is Black Saber's MGI.

Stats

STR (筋力) - Strength.
CON (耐久) - Constitution.
AGI (敏捷) - Agility.
MGI (魔力) - Magic (power).
LCK (幸運) - Luck. Ability to reverse destiny.
Noble Phantasm (宝具) - Generally broken up by normal and special effects.

STR generally refers not so much to physical strength but normal attack strength for Servants.

AGI isn't an indicator of speed itself, just that. Agility/dexterity. But naturally, being fast is also going to have an affect on agility. Also appears to factor in skill rather than just pure dodging.

Speed

Saber = 7 meters + slashing attack covered with 2 steps
Saber's maximum speed + command spell boost = Mach 13.2
Archer's BP arrows = just as fast
True Assassin = slower than Lancer and Saber but as fast or faster than Kotomine
Rider = faster maximum speed than Lancer
Sakura Rider + bad terrain (cavern) = 50 meters in 2 seconds, while trying to buy enough time to get Black Saber off her back so she could gain enough distance to use Bellerophon
Lancer = 100 meter backstep in a blink of an eye, 50 meters forward in one breath, best dasher
Rin = 100 meters in 7 seconds
Kotomine (when running on bad terraincarrying Ilya and no spells) = 50km/h Shirou, with Archer's arm (before activation) = slightly slower speed than Kotomine; 100 meters in 7 seconds on bad terrain
Black Berserker (blind) = 30 meters in less than 3 seconds while slashing
Black Berserker slashes = speed of sound
Nine Lives = faster than speed of sound
Lancer's hurled Gae Bolg = Mach 2, at 40 kilo distance
Pegasus = 400~500km/h
Bazett's right straight = 80km/h
Reinforced Kuzuki throw/slam = Saber, 40kg, at a speed of 200km/h
Araya = fast enough to dodge a bullet after it's been shot. Ryougi Shiki 3rd personality attack = faster than reaction of said Araya

Skills

Extracts for now. Exactly at what point the skill description ends and the rank description begins is a little vague for some of the skills, so I generally used common sense.

Instinct - The constant ability to "feel" the most appropriate development during a battle for oneself.
A: Close to sharpenned sixth sense or prediction of the future. Reduces effects of visual and auditory obstructions by half. (Saber)
B: Lowered due to restraining of rage caused from contamination by Angra Mainyu. (Black Saber)
Example 1: Saber's instinct sensing the two oncoming arcs of Tsubame Gaeshi after smashing the first arc, letting herself trip down the stone steps before they could hit.
Example 2: Saber being able to predict Kuzuki's snake to some degree in the initial confrontation.
Example 3: Used in tracking and predicting the trajectory of Assassin's dirks (in conjuction with the sound of the wind being slashed).

Riding - The skill of riding. Will also work on vehicles.
A+: Can ride mythical/divine beasts. However, will not apply to dragon races. (Rider)
B: Can ride on most animals more skillfully than the average rider, but will not be able to successfully ride on monstrous/holy-ranked creatures. Can also ride on all kinds of motorcycles, up to large-models (In Japan, types with cc over 400). (Saber)

Battle Continuance - The ability to come out alive.
A: Allows for battle even with grave wounds. Will survive as long as a decisively fatal injury isn't taken. (Lancer, Berserker)
Example 1: Lancer being able to still kick Kotomine and Shinji's asses after getting his heart stabbed out.
Example 2: Lancer still being able to hang around for a short time after being hit by Fragarach.
Example 3: Amount of damage taken by Berserker from Gilgamesh's rain of blades while still being able to continue moving forward.

Prana Burst - The raising of stats by soaking one's weapon or body with magic energy and immediately expelling it. A jet burst using magic energy.
A: Used in defense and movement. A normal weapon without powerful protection will be unable to withstand an attack by her and will probably be destroyed in one blow. Probably what is used to heal herself. (Saber)
A: Magic energy covers body without needing to will it to. Raises defense several times. (Black Saber)
Example 1: Busting Avenger's swords easily.
Example 2: Extra armor on Black Saber.

Charisma - Leadership ability, NOT personal charm. The natural talent of leading an army. Raises the stats of one's own forces.
A+: Commanding and controlling a large army. At this point, you might as well call it an effect from sorcery or curses instead of popularity. And, he might act like that in sn but he's really popular among the kids.(Gilgamesh)
B: Suitable for a king of a country. (Saber)
E: Command power increases, however morale decreases. (Black Saber)

Far Sight - Clairvoyance. Strength of vision.
C: Acquiring distant targets, raising of vision of moving objects. Higher ranks allow for precognition and detection of things that go "beyond" normal vision. (Archer)
Example 1: Targeting of Shirou from 4km away.
Example 2: Tracking an accelerating Saber and readjusting trajectory of Hrunting to match her.
Example 3: The famous, I can see how many tiles there are from way over here! scene.

Eye of the Mind (Fake) - Eh well...basically the equivalent of spider-sense.
A: Resistance to modifiers from visual obstructions. A natural talent for the prediction of danger through the sixth sense. (Assassin)
B: Avoidance of danger through instinct/sixth sense. (Berserker)
Example 1: Berserker reacting to Caladbolg II and smashing it before it hit.
Example 2: Reaction to jewel ice bolts.

Bravery - The ability to cancel mental interference such as pressure, confusion, and mesmerization.
A+: Also has the effect of increasing melee damage but
can't be used due to mad enhancement. (Berserker)

Eye of the Mind (True) - Perception/judgment ability gained through training.
B: Calm analysis of battle situation and conclusion of action during a tight spot through "theory of battle". As long as there is a 1% chance of turning the tables on the opponent, can execute a strategy to reel in that chance. (Archer)
Example 1: The reason why Archer was able to adapt well enough to a serious Lancer; using experience from the previous fight and applying it with Eye of the Mind to predict his attacks.
Example 2: The kind of skill that anybody can reach after countless time spent on training. Not so much the skill of a genius, but the skill of the hopelessly average person.
Example 3: Shirou calming himself and digesting all the information gained from Archer's arm in just a few seconds and then applying it.

Disengage - The ability to break away from battle. (skirmishing type of ability)
C: Also has the ability to return an unfavorable battle to the first turn and return technique stats to their defaults. (Lancer)
Example 1: Lancer being able to jump back really fast.
Example 2: Lancer being able to escape really well.

Harmony - Attack accuracy does not decrease no matter how many times the same technique is used against the same opponent.
B: Target is unable to fully anticipate and react to attacks. (Assassin)
Example 1: Resistance to Eye of the Mind or Instinct?

Monstrous Strength - The temporary amplification of STR. Attack ability possessed only by mamono and beasts. Usage increases STR by one rank. Duration is based on the rank of Monstrous Strength.
B: (Rider)
Example 1: Rider swinging around True Assassin without any trouble.
Example 2: Enough to lift up a road roller.
Note: The more Rider uses it, the closer she becomes to turning into the Gorgon.

Golden Rule - Not the mathmatical rule, but a measure of the destiny of just how wealthy one will be in life.
A: Goldiness good enough for a billionaire. Will never ever have to worry about money. (Gilgamesh)

Thaumaturgy
C-: Has learned orthodox thaumaturgy. (Archer)

Divinity - Aptitude as a Divine Spirit. Degree of divine blood. The higher the ranking, the stronger the presence of one's divine blood. Ranking can be lowered based on one's own rejection of the gods or according to ranking as a monster/beast.
A+ (B+) - Gilgamesh. 2/3 divinity, but lowered due to HIS dislike of the gods.
A: Hercules.
B: Lancer.
E-: Rider. Most of divinity has degenerated due to high monster/beast ranking.

Protection against arrows - Protection of stray arrows. Defense against projectile weapons.
B: Can track any kind of thrown weapon with eyes and deal with them as long as the shooter is within field of vision. However, does not extend to direct attacks from super long range or area of effect attacks that cover a large area. (Lancer)
Basically an ability Cu Chulainn was born with. Better be a high class enough Noble Phantasm projectile type weapon in order to negate this when in medium range. Works by hearing the sound of the projectile hitting the wind and the killing intent of the enemy to predict the trajectory.
Example 1: No worries when dealing with True Assassin's dirks.

Protection against wind
A charm (spell) passed down in the Middle East for avoiding typhoons.
Example 1: Used by True Assassin to spring forward when pushed back by Invisible Air.

Projectiles (Daggers)
The ability to shoot daggers as projectiles. (Assassin)

Mystic Eyes
A+: Has one of the greatest mystic eyes, Cybele. Will petrify those of below B rank in MGI unconditionally. Those at rank B may or may not be petrified, depending on the circumstances. Rank A MGI targets will not be petrified but they will be weighed down, reducing stats by one rank.(Rider)

High-Speed Divine Words - The ability to activate thaumaturgy without the connection of incantations (code)/circuits. The words from the era of gods, back when words played a heavy role in the actualization of mysteries. As a result, pronunciation is impossible by modern humans.
A: Can activate high thaumaturgy in a Single Action.

Vitrification - Serenity.
B+: Protection against mental interference. As he is not a real assassin, the Assassin skill "Presence Concealment" can't be used but can use a type of "Presence Concealment" based on the martial skill of freeing one's mind of distraction. (Assassin)

Runes - The crests (runes) of northern Europe.
B: Has access to the original 18 runes. (Lancer)
Example 1: Using a rune to burn down the castle.
Example 2: Ath nGabla.
Example 3: Protection using all of his runes to form a bounded barrier would be good enough to starve off a high class Noble Phantasm (although still no match for the shadow).

Self-Modification - Aptitude of the connection/fusion of the body parts of others to oneself. The higher the rank, the farther away one is from a true hero.
C: True Assassin. Incorporation of the arm of Shaytan and parts of Lancer (heart). Actually intended to also take Saber's heart in HF.

Bloated Ego - The state of being full of yourself. The trademark of a king. After all, what's the point of being a king if you can't be full of yourself? Gamewise, doesn't really exist as a skill. Or does it? Adult Gilgamesh has it. Little Gil doesn't have it and thus can make full use of the weapons in the vault, even though he can't take them out in vast numbers. I don't know why I added this....

Other Skills/Powers

Tsubame Gaeshi - Anti-personnel enchanted blade. Maximum AOE of 1. A technique that slices the target through 3 arcs hitting the target at the same exact time. Apparently one of the types of phenomenon under what are called multi-dimensional refraction phenomena. An unavoidable, by a different meaning from Gae Bolg, killer sword skill.

Nine Lives - Application of the Nine Lives bow onto Hercules' other weapons. A sequence of nine strikes.

Refraction Prolonging - Divine level skill negating healing by any non-natural means.

Restoration Hex - Repairing damage to an injured area by turning back time around the damaged part. A vampire ability.

High-Speed Incantation - The (modern) ability to activate thaumaturgy at faster than normal rates. An A rank incantation that normally takes 60 seconds can be reduced to 30 seconds at best. Used by Aoko (probably using the Notaricon as a base; nicknamed Unlimited Rotation), Ciel (but only to some simple extent), and probably Alba as well.

Marble Phantasm - Imagination Actualization. Just like the name says, the power to actualize imagination. The powers of the extensions of nature/the world, elementals. By linking their consciousness with the world, they are able to alter the environment as they will it to. The level of the actualization depends on the scale of the elemental. However, the only things that can be altered is nature. Those creatures that are independent of nature cannot be affected directly (like humans). Animal control is possible. (Control of monsterse or creatures classified as Mara/Demonic probably aren't). Examples of use are turning an atmospheric layer into a vacuum (used against Roa), the Millenium Castle, fairy villages, etc. Possible for Arcueid with her limiter released to cause a town to appear in the mountains. However, given that she's making it in a place where there's already people, she'll have to destroy it first in order to make it, causing some time for it to be completed.

Melty Blood application of Marble Phantasm involves countless chains acting as her tactile extension (think phantom limb) and is something along the lines of her own touch sensations being magnified. The reason why what's grabbing the target isn't a hand but chains is emotionally representative of her feelings in never allowing herself to be freed from her restraints.

Alt Nagel - Ancient Nail. Used by the Crimson Moon. Basically the same attack that Waruceid uses. The exception being that the description of it is that it's a pillar of wind stretching as far as the heavens. Added here just for the magnitude effect. The other Warucueid attacks, Alt Schule, Blut Die Schwester, Gnaden Sturz, etc. ought to have the same sort of uber power burst imagery attached.

Sensa, Sensou - Flash sheath, Flash dash. A unique technique passed down by the Nanayas making use of the area, as in using walls and ceilings, in order to move. Sensa refers to the arms (Flash Sheath), while Sensou refers to the legs (Flash Dash). Nanaya Shiki uses this naturally, but to Shiki, this is more of a trump card. Further, Kyokushi Nanaya, Nanaya Shiki's Last Arc, is as the name suggests, the ultimate technique of the Nanayas.

Necros Rejection Diathesis - Not the regeneration of damaged portions, but the ability, or natural bodily property, of reassembling the physical body to be able to continue living in a damaged state. However, should many of the absolute minimum parts required for living be missing, the body having the necrosis rejection property will die. For example, even if the region above the neck isn't damaged, if the base below is gone, that person will die.

Adhesion Hex "Shokuri" - Corrosive Separation. Death from wounds in battle are rare via Necros Rejection, but regeneration of lost body parts is not possible. Adhesion Hex "Shokuri" is the ability to suppliment lost parts by stealing them from others. Image-wise, the anything-goes sort of organ transplant. Also can be used as a counterattack method; Kakuyaku Shokuri (the Kakuyaku is the same name for some of the Akiha attacks). The instant damage is received by an attack, the body parts scatter and skewer the enemy. The upper body part appears behind the target's back and then....

Blood blades - Application of Necros Rejection. Ability to take one's own blood, freely changing its form, and then hardening it. Once hardened, it will not return to its original liquid state. Allows for the usage of splashing blood as bullets or arrow-like projectiles, as well as alteration into a sword for slashing.

Dokkaku - Single horn. The title of the taijutsu Kishima Kouma uses. As with a training monk who gains enlightenment by himself, soliditary. That is taijutsu that can only be passed to the "same being". In this case, this refers to Kishima's clan, bloodsucking half-bloods. If the Nanaya's taijutsu can be inherited if you're a 4 legged beast, the taijutsu of the Kishima can only be remembered by the Kishima.

Hebi - Snake. The one skill that Kuzuki was given by his organization, polished and perfected from years of doing nothing but just that, at the cost of 20,000,000 yen and 20 years. His organization values the turning out of products, hence why Kuzuki was only allowed that one technique. The arms seem to twist as a whip would, but these movements always come in right angles; not to mention the flashing speed of these punches and the accuracy at the points they're aiming at. Hence the nickname, "snake". The real problem for an opponent who has to deal with this at the first time is getting used to the angles and positions these hits are coming from. Saber for instance, was actually hit from the back of the head when face to face with Kuzuki for the first time. Against a Servant, actual damage isn't that big (in fact, these won't break through Saber's armor); but receiving many of these reinforced hits overtime will add up to pain that will stun the person long enough to allow for an opportunity to allow for a fatal head blow. Needless to say, useless aagainst a Servant without backup from Caster.

Ryakudatsu - Akiha's power. Robbing the heat from the target by looking at them. Not burning the target, but actually freezing them to the point of dehydration and subsequently evaporation. Properties similar to mystic eyes, but more or less falling under the category of a curse-type of power.

Sekishu Origami - The full output name of the Ryakudatsu ability of Akiha, a konketsu with the ability of robbing the heat from those organisms she sees.

Akiha's Ryakudatsu is activated by looking at the topic, but those with spiritual perception can see reddish thread like things entangling and burning red. According to Jonnobi, Akiha herself can't see them. At its maximum output, not only the target, but the whole region surrounding the target is covered with red threads, making it impossible to escape. That state is called Origami (Imprisoning Hair). In the last day of the Kouhaku route, the reason why Shiki couldn't leave from the school was because the entire school was covered by Akiha's Origami.

An absolute attack method against those normal people without any spiritual defenses, but against those higher spiritual entities (in particular, someone at the transcendent level like Arcueid), the impairment level would be of the level of an annoying spider web covering the world. With backup from Kouhaku or Hisui, it might be possible to just barely manage tying Arcueid up. Similar and dissimilar to Blood Fort Andromeda, if you think about it.

Demonition
The power of Merem. A first rank evocation power. Can only materialize the wishes of others and not one's own wishes. No matter how powerful an ability it is, he can't do anything by himself, is the way how Merem is; exactly the same as how demons are.

Similar to Marble Phantasms, but Merem's demon summoning uses the wishes of people as models, and is colored by the dreams (longing) of Merem to create something similar.

The power of the demons are based on the images of others, but the figure is formed by Merem's images and the magnitude of those powers fluctuates based on Merem's Prana. Merem, because of his personality, isn't skilled in the realistic and calculated materialization of demons. He's a rigid Peter Pan living in a world of fantasy, and thus, the pictures he's skilled at, the phantasms he wants to draw are "demons seen in fairy tales."

Masochistic pneumatic automatism diathesis
The genetic condition of automatically expressing on one's body the spiritual disruptions caused by demons when close to them; detecting of the spiritual constitution floating in the surrounding area being materialized that using one's own flesh, to put it in another convoluted way. Which doesn't mean the person who has it is possessed. What's being reenacted would only be the symptoms. Not the sort of condition that would cause any real harm, but one that doesn't really offer any other benefits for anybody, other than to detect and determine what kind of demon an exorcist team is dealing with; and obviously, it will result in physical damage. Can't be gained from training since it's purely genetic, which is why people born with these traits are valued by the Church as demon detectors. Normal imagery would be of walking around the street and then suddenly bleeding for no apparent reason.

Incantation breakdown

Single Actions - Requirement is to only pass energy to activate. Gandr shots and mystic eyes are single action spells. Instant spells.
One-Line - Fixing one effect within oneself.
Ten-Count - Instant Contract. A simple ritual. Necessary for high thaumaturgy (rank A spells or higher). Casting time is typically one minute for a fully-trained magus and 30 seconds for one with high speed incantations). Consisting of ten or more lines.
Archer and Shirou's incantations are more than five lines long and are close to Ten-Count types.

The majority of Caster's spells fall into the One-Line category, but speed is even faster or at least just as fast as Single Action spells (for game purposes, close to "No Action"; not that I know anything about game mechanics of a rpg that hasn't even been made yet) and power-level is no less than that of Five-Line spells. Also, as her spells are Divine Words, they do not fall into normal categories and thus the conditions of Magic Invulnerability B, C, and D do not apply to her.

Activation of Noble Phantasms probably generally will fall into the One-Line or Two-Line category as the recitation of the true name of the weapon is required. Probably.
